At Polwarth Dental Clinic, we understand that when it comes to your teeth, it’s not just about the regular dental check-ups and professional cleanse, it’s about having an emergency dentist in Edinburgh that you can rely on whenever you need them. We understand that when tooth pain strikes, you need to be seen as soon as possible to eradicate any pain and discomfort you’re feeling as well as to prevent any further damage from arising. The earlier you phone us at Polwarth Dental Clinic the earlier we will be able to arrange an appointment for you. We offer emergency appointments to both patients that are registered with us and non-registered patients, meaning you can get an appointment in an emergency even if you don’t live in the area.
Same day appointments for a variety of issues
When you experience tooth pain or have damaged a tooth, it is important to contact our emergency dentist in Edinburgh as soon as you can so they can arrange for you to come into our practice on the same day. Sometimes tooth pain will come on gradually and other times it will be incredibly sudden. If you feel that your tooth pain is getting worse, or you feel that there is an underlying cause that needs to be addressed, it is time to phone us. If it is not possible to see you on the same day we will endeavour to do whatever we can to help and book you an appointment for as soon as possible.
We deal with an array of issues here at Polwarth Dental Clinic and can assist with tooth removal, restoration, abscesses, infections, swelling and inflammation as well as, generic tooth pain. Wisdom teeth can also cause problems if they are not growing through straight, as they can put pressure on your other teeth or cause infection. If we are unable to resolve your emergency on the same day, our dental professionals will do as much as they can to relieve you of pain and improve your circumstances before you leave our practice.
What if your tooth pain starts in the middle of the night?
Our emergency dentist in Edinburgh is available during normal working hours, Monday to Friday. At Polwarth Dental Clinic we are aware that a dental emergency isn’t planned and can happen at any time, so we offer a convenient out of hours service for all of our registered patients. To get advice all you need to do is call our practice and the answerphone message will provide instructions for how to access our on call dentist. There is a callout fee, however you can claim this back afterwards if you are part of one of our member plans. The callout service is available every day of the year, making it easy for you to seek dental advice when you need it most, be it in the middle of the night or on the weekend. Unfortunately we do not offer an out of hours service for non-registered patients, but it is easy to register through our practice.
